A bald eagle is recovering on Monday night in Sharon after he was rescued by the Connecticut state Environmental Conservation Police.
Officers responded to a report of a sick bald eagle in Thomaston on Friday.
He was captured and taken to the Audobon Center in Sharon for treatment.
Officials said the staff was able to stabilize him on Saturday night and on Monday he is now doing much better.
Officials said this eagle had been tagged seven years go before he could fly and is a native of Connecticut.
