The Attorney General’s office is suing a wood pellet company accused of leaving customers high and dry.
Eyewitness News first reported late last year that Wilsonville Power was not making good on sales.
On Feb. 18, the Attorney General’s office filed a lawsuit against Wilsonville Power and its owner.
The suit accuses the business of defrauding customers from Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, by taking money for wood pellets and then never delivering.
The company has since filed for bankruptcy.
The lawsuit is an attempt to recoup money for customers.
