4.6.16 Spicy Sausage Ravioli with Peppers and Onions

Carla's Spicy Sausage Ravioli with Peppers and Onions


  • 1 Pack 5533 Carla's Spicy Sausage Ravioli                              
  • 1 ea. Red Bell Pepper, sliced                 
  • 1 ea. Cubanelle or Green Bell Pepper, sliced                
  • 1 clove Garlic, sliced    
  • ½ White Onion, sliced                                                        
  • 1 tsp extra virgin Olive Oil            
  • ¼ cup Sweet Marsala Cooking wine                               
  • ¼ cup Chicken Stock                                           
  • Fresh Basil ¼ cup                                                               
  • 1 Tbsp. Parmesan, grated          
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste



1 .Heat a sauté pan over medium high heat. Add olive oil and onion and sauté until softened (about 2 minutes). Add Peppers and Garlic to pan, sauté for additional 2 minutes.

2. Add Marsala and chicken stock and reduce until ½ of the liquid evaporates (about 2 minutes).

3. Simmer Carla's Spicy Sausage Ravioli for 2-3 minutes in boiling water.

4. Strain Pasta and add to the peppers and onion mixture. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with Parmesan cheese and Basil. Enjoy!
