BERLIN, CT (WFSB) -

Berlin police are investigating a rash of car break-ins and thefts happening around town.

The thefts have been happening during late night hours over the past several months, police said, where unlocked cars are ransacked and if keys are left inside the car, the vehicle is stolen.

Police were able to recover surveillance video of a suspect who entered an unlocked car overnight on March 17 into March 18.
