NAUGATUCK, CT (WFSB) -

A Naugatuck police officer is being praised for helping a woman with her groceries after being involved in a crash.

After the crash, police said the officer R. Burns conducted the investigation into the accident. The officer decided to wheel her groceries block the block to her home.

The officer even put the groceries away, made her lunch and did the dishes.

However, the officer was late on something.

“On the other hand...We are still waiting on our accident report to be completed... Baby steps folks .... Baby steps,” the post on Naugatuck Police Department Facebook page.
