MERIDEN, CT (WFSB) -

Meriden police continue to investigate after three people were shot overnight at a bar on Lewis Avenue.

Police said they received multiple 911 calls just before 2 a.m. Sunday reporting shots being fired at the Noiise Sports Bar at 149 Lewis Avenue.  In addition, two officers in the area on-duty heard the gunshots and quickly responded.

Police said it appears the person who fired the shots immediately fled the scene.  

Officers who entered the bar discovered three victims, two men and a woman who had all been shot.

Police said both male victims were rushed to trauma centers at area hospitals, one by a Life Star helicopter.  The female victim, who was shot in the leg, was also taken to an area hospital for treatment.

A forth victim, another woman was also found to be injured.  Initially police thought she may had also been shot, but later discovered she had suffered a foot injury during the incident.

Police have not release details on the extent of the male victims injuries or their conditions at this time.

Officers are asking anyone who may have information about the shooting or who may have been at or in the area of the Noiise Spots Bar just prior to 2 a.m. is asked to call Meriden Police Detective John Wagner at 203-630-6334.
