The University of Connecticut is partnering with a big name book seller to run its campus bookstore.
Barnes and Noble is teaming up with the university.
On Wednesday, the Board of Trustees approved plans for Barnes and Noble to operate bookstores at nine UConn campus locations, including the new campus opening in downtown Hartford.
It’ll be the first time the city has had a bookstore in more than 10 years.
Barnes and Noble will replace the co-op, which has run the bookstore since the 1970s, and recently had been dealing with money problems.
