SHELTON, CT (WFSB) -

A 53-year-old man from Shelton is accused of giving drugs and alcohol to an underage teen to the point where she would pass out.

Steven Weitzman of Shelton was arrested on Thursday after police said they received a complaint from the 18-year-old victim's father.

Detectives said Weitzman was picking up the teen and bringing her to his home where he provided various drugs to the point where the victim would pass out.

The investigation revealed that the suspect did it on more than one occasion.

Police said Weitzman was charged with illegal dispensing of a legend drug, possession of a controlled substance, sale of a controlled substance, procuring alcohol to a minor and permitting a minor to possess alcohol in a dwelling.

He was scheduled to face a judge in Derby on May 12.

Weitzman's bond was set at $5,000.
