Connecticut State Police say a man's own Instagram videos led to his arrest in a reckless driving investigation.
Authorities said Thursday that they had received complaints about reckless motorcycle and ATV riders in the New Haven area and began investigating in November. Troopers say they discovered an Instagram account named "Reckless_203" that included a large number of videos of reckless driving from Bridgeport to East Haven.
State police say they determined Gabriel Canestri Jr. of New Haven was one of the reckless drivers and the Instagram account owner. He was charged with 23 counts of reckless driving and other crimes.
Canestri's father declined to comment on the charges, but said his son is a good person. He said his son was expected to post his $50,000 bail later Thursday.
