HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

A stolen car was found on fire at a Hartford elementary school early Tuesday morning.

According to police, officers responded to a report of smoke in the area of the Wish School on Barbour Street around 5:30 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found a fully involved car fire. Firefighters responded and extinguished it.

Police then ran the license plate number and found the Honda Accord to be stolen from East Hartford. Officers said the car was reported stolen on April 18.

An investigation is under way and anyone with information is asked to call Hartford police.
