FARMINGTON, CT (WFSB) -

A Farmington elementary school principal will return to work next week after her brother’s arrest for child pornography charges.

Renee St. Hilaire will return to her duties at East Farm Schools on Tuesday. Her 38-year-old brother Alfred St. Hilaire was arrested last month after police said child porn was found on his computer.

"Her brother’s arrest was and continues to be shocking and greatly distressing to Ms. Renee St. Hilaire," Farmington Superintendent of Schools Kathleen C. Greider and Police Chief Paul Melanson said in a letter to parents.

Alfred St. Hilaire was also a volunteer at East Farm Schools and was living with his sister in Middeltown.

"The Farmington Police Department found no evidence that Mr. Alfred St. Hilaire engaged in any criminal activity while volunteering at East Farms," the letter stated.

An investigation revealed she had no knowledge of any illegal activity and "found no evidence that connects the arrest of Mr. Alfred St. Hilaire to the school district’s students, faculty or staff."
