A Colchester man was arrested on Saturday when he allegedly showed up at a CT State Police barracks under the influence.
Police said 44-year-old Michael Bourgoin drove to Troop H in Hartford to pick up his brother, who had been arrested.
Officers suspected Bourgoin may be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, so they conducted a field sobriety test.
Police said Bourgoin failed the test and was taken into custody.
He was charged with operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol and is expected to appear in court on June 2.
