On Sunday afternoon, a few people who were fishing in the area of Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven saw an empty lime-green kayak was ashore.
Inside the kayak was a fishing pole, along with bait, and a fresh catch.

The high winds and choppy water didn’t help make the search any easier.
The Coast Guard used multiple boats as well as an aircraft in the search.
