BRISTOL, CT (WFSB) -

A wanted felon was found to be hiding in the attic of a garage in Bristol, according to police.

They said they arrested 25-year-old Daniel Rodriguez, whose last address was in Bethel, on Monday.

He was found at an address on Beacon Street around 2:45 a.m.

Police said he had two outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was charged with first-degree failure to appear and violation of probation.

They said the failure to appear warrant came from a bank robbery that happened in Brookfield back in February. Rodriguez posted bond for that case; however, police said he never showed up to court.

Police said he then ignored the terms of his probation, which prompted his probation officer to secure the second warrant.

He was held on a $75,000 bond for the failure to appear and a $25,000 bond for the probation violation.

Rodriguez is due in Bristol Superior Court Monday morning.
