MOODUS, CT (WFSB) -

Friends and family gathered in Moodus on Monday evening to remember a motorcyclist killed in a crash over the weekend.

Connecticut State Police said 23-year-old David Seaquist died on Sunday night.

Police said Seaquist was riding his motorcycle on Route 149 when an SUV turned into a 7-Eleven, hitting the bike head-on.

Seaquist was flown to Hartford Hospital via LIFE STAR where he was pronounced dead.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
