A high school in Bridgeport was placed in lockdown on Wednesday after multiple students ran past the metal directors.
Fairchild Wheeler Magnet School was placed into "lock in and lock out," mode, following a fight earlier in the morning, Bridgeport spokesman Av Harris said.
“Numerous students ran past the metal detectors without being searched,” Harris told Eyewitness News.
School security were able detain some of the students, but Harris said they had “to recheck all the students again.”
