Hartford school bus drivers reached an agreement with their employer Friday following a strike earlier this month.
Members of the union CSEA SEIU Local 2001 reached the deal with DATTCO after more than nine months of negotiations.
The union called the agreement "tentative" and said it must be approved by the drivers.
It includes improved hours as well as retirement and paid sick leave benefits.
Before the deal was reached, drivers striked for one day and at one point attempted to school buses from leaving the bus yard.
The union had been working without a contract since September of last year.
