Police release surveillance photos of Bristol robbery suspect

BRISTOL, CT (WFSB) -

Police are searching for the man responsible for early Monday morning robbery at a convenience store in Bristol.

An unidentified man entered the 7-11, which is located at 200 Riverside Ave., around 2:15 a.m. Once inside the store, police said the man hit the employee in the head with a rock and demanded money.

The suspect with an undisclosed amount of money fled the store on foot headed in the direction of Main Street near Prospect Street.

The suspect is being described as 5’8” to 5’11” with a thin build. Police said he was wearing a gray shirt with yellow sleeves and a yellow hood, blue jeans and dark colored shoes.
