Police identify woman injured in Bristol motorcycle crash

BRISTOL, CT (WFSB) -

A 53-year-old woman was "seriously injured" in a motorcycle crash in Bristol on Sunday night. 

Officers were called to a motorcycle crash on Redstone Hill Road near the intersection of Prestige Lane around 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers located Bristol resident Helen Benoit laying on the side of the road. 

Benoit was rushed to a hospital in Hartford with serious injuries. Police said she was in "stable condition" on Monday. 

Police are continuing to investigate the crash, but no charges were filed by investigators.
