Police release photos of suspect in Watertown liquor store robbery

WATERTOWN, CT (WFSB) -

Police are searching for the man responsible for a liquor store robbery in Watertown in April.

A man in his 50s entered the Highgate Liquor Store, which is located at 963 Main St., on April 26  just before 4 p.m.  

Police said the man, who was wearing jeans, a shirt with the letters “Bronco," a white hat and a red jacket, stole two bottles of “high end liquor.”

The man left the scene “as a passenger in a white Mercedes Benz,” police said.  

Police released surveillance photos of the suspect on Tuesday. 

No arrests have been made in the robbery. Anyone with any information about the robbery is asked to call the Watertown Police Department at 860-945-5200 or Crime Stoppers at 860-945-9940. Police said all calls will be kept confidential.
