Hickory Harvest Foods is recalling several products because the items contain sunflower seeds, which have potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
Listeria monocytogenes is “an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems,” according to U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The products were sold in multiple states including Connecticut. Here are the products being recalled:

No illnesses were reported to the FDA. But, Hickory Harvest Foods said they were recalling the products, due to “abundance of caution.”
This current recall is addition to one started on May 4.
