Torrington police are investigating after a man reportedly made a threatening comment toward the Hartford Dispensary on Wednesday.
Police said Matthew Bartley went to the facility and made threatening statements that alarmed the employees.
Investigators seized Bartley's vehicle, in which they found parts of firearms and other dangerous instruments.
No working firearms were found in the vehicle, however police seized firearms from another location where he stored them.
Bartley was charged with second-degree breach of peace, second-degree threatening and weapons in a motor vehicle.
He was held on a $5,000 bond.
