Police said they arrested a 17-year-old boy following a deadly hit-and-run in Greenwich.
Andrew Schmidt of Greenwich was taken into custody on Thursday, police said.
They said the incident happened on April 17 on East Putnam Avenue at Hillside Road.
Edward Setterberg of Cos Cob was struck and killed shortly after 11 p.m.
Police said they located the suspect's vehicle a short time later.
They executed 39 separate search warrants and analyzed a significant amount of physical evidence, investigators said.
The juvenile was charged with evading responsibility, which is a felony charge with a potential penalty of up to 10 years in prison.
Schmidt was released after posting a court-set bond of $100,000.
He's due in court on June 2.
