Interstate 84 eastbound has reopened after a crash in Tolland.
According to the fire department, crews responded to the scene around 12:40 p.m.
Two cars were involved in the crash. One car went over the guardrail and down and embankment.
According to the Tolland Fire Chief, four people were transported to the hospital all with minor injuries.
Crews are still working to get the car out of the embankment.
The highway was shut down for approximately 3 hours while crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
