Man arrested on drug, weapons charges after firing shots in front of his home

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Hartford police said a man was arrested Thursday after firing shots in front of his Hartford home.

Police said Jamie Jackson, 20, fired a round of shots in front of his home at 106 Kent St.

Police said they executed a search warrant and discovered several firearms, 26 live ammunition rounds hidden in a fake Red Bull can, crack cocaine, marijuana, drug packaging materials, brass knuckles and nine counterfeit $20 bills.

Jackson was arrested on charges of carrying a pistol without a permit, theft of a firearm, unlawful discharge, reckless endangerment, possession of a high capacity magazine, possession of narcotics, possession narcotics  within 1,500 feet of a school zone, possession with intent to sell narcotics, possession with intent to sell narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school zone and possession of drug paraphernalia.
