A group of rescuers had their hands full in Durham this morning after a fawn found its way into a storm drain.
Crews from the Durham Animal Response Team (DART) were called to Partridge Lane Saturday morning after its calls could be heard.
It took crew members some time to find her, but thankfully with some patience they were finally able to pull her safely from the drain.
Officials said the fawn was in good health and immediately begun calling for her mother who was seen in the area earlier and probably was not too far off.
