Metro North said they will return to a normal schedule Sunday after they experienced heavy delays Saturday afternoon.
The trains were delayed for at least an hour after a draw bridge failure in South Norwalk.
The failure occurred around 2:30 p.m.
The MTA will be bused riders between the East and South Norwalk stations for the remainder of the afternoon.
Police could not confirm whether repairs on the bridge have been completed.
Metro North said a normal Sunday service is expected and the bridge will remain closed until further notice.
