"We just love what the beach does to families. It brings them together and makes everybody a kid again,” said Brian King of Brooklyn.
Families were enjoying the sun and the sand on Sunday, getting ready for summer.
While the beach was hot, the water was pretty chilly. Some took the plunge, but most just dipped their toes.
"That water is so cold,” said Summer Larkins, of Oklahoma City.
