The Connecticut Lottery said whoever bought a winning Powerball ticket sold over the winter never came forward.
Officials said the $1 million ticket was sold at Rainbow News and Variety on Main Street in Norwalk on Dec. 5, 2015.
The numbers were 13 - 27 - 33 - 47 - 68 and Powerball number 13.
The ticket was sold as a "quick pick."
Officials said the prize was by far the largest that the store had ever seen. They also called it unfortunate that no one claimed it.
They said the player had until June 2 to claim the prize. All tickets expire 180 days after the drawing date.
