Thousands of participants will be gathering in downtown Hartford Saturday morning, all with one goal, to find a cure for breast cancer.
The 2016 Susan G. Komen Southern New England Race for the Cure Greater Hartford is being held in Bushnell Park.
A 5K run will kick off at 8:30 a.m. followed by a 5K walk at 9:45 a.m.
All the funds raised will go to bringing awareness to screening, along with treatment and diagnostics for those fighting breast cancer.
If you wish to participate, online registration is closed but on-site race day registration is available and will open at 7:30 a.m.
