ROCKY HILL, CT (WFSB) -

Rocky Hill police said technical problems that were being reported with their 911 phone system have been repaired.

Officers told Eyewitness News that 911 calls had been rerouted to the Cromwell Police Department on Wednesday morning.

The problem was first reported around 7 a.m. As of 3:30 p.m., the system was back up and running.

The Rocky Hill Police Department's routine lines were all working properly, so callers looking to report non-emergencies can still call 860-258-7640.
