HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

The former developer of the still-under-construction baseball stadium in downtown Hartford may sue the city.

Centerplan construction said it was wrongly terminated.

It claims the city made it impossible to complete Dunkin' Donuts Park by May 17.

Centerplan said in the past that the city kept making last minute changes to the $65 million project.

Details of the potential suit have not yet been released.

Last week, Hartford officially cut ties with DoNo LLC and Centerplan, which had been responsible for future home of the Hartford Yard Goats.

Mayor Luke Bronin made the announcement last Monday.

As a result of the stadium not being completed, the Yard Goats team has had to play a number of "home" games at Dodd Stadium in Norwich and in New York to give players a rest from strenuous road travel.
