The Connecticut Sports Foundation will host another Cycle Against Cancer.
This event will take place on Saturday, July 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Zen and Now in Niantic.
The Ambassador for this event, according to the event Website, is 3 year old Meadow. Meadow is battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia and always has a smile on her face despite going through three rounds of chemotherapy.
The Cycle Against Cancer fundraisers are indoor cycling, also known as spinning, events where participants will cycle as a team or a solo participant after raising funds for the Foundation. The Foundation then uses those funds to help families in Connecticut where a financial burden is present while fighting cancer. This helps patients, and their families, to not worry about where their next meal will come from or how they will pay other bills.
