East Hartford shooting victim identified

EAST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Police in East Hartford identified one of the victims of a shooting in East Hartford that left a man dead and a pregnant woman in critical condition.

They said Trevino Archer, 21, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead in a home on Plain Drive.

The shooting happened on June 17 just before 4:30 a.m.

Police said a 23-year-old woman was also hospitalized as a result of the shooting. She has not yet been identified.

A 4-year-old boy and another woman were in the home as well when the shots rang out. Both were unharmed.

Police said the victims did not shoot each other and that they were attacked. They also said they had never been called to the home before for any kind of issue.

No other information was released.
