At least one Bristol resident said his signs supporting Donald Trump for president are being stolen from his front yard.
Trump supporter Kristopher Salls said his signs have been stolen repeatedly from his lawn on South Street.
The high school sophomore said he has not reached out to police yet about the thefts.
“I've had a good 20-something signs,” Salls said. “Pretty much daily, they come out and take the signs or they just mess with them.”
Salls said it’s been happening since April and the thefts happened on about 10 different occasions.
Salls has an American theme on his lawn and said people have been bashing him on social media
“They'll say 'take the signs down'," Salls said. “We don't like them, you're offending me. But I don't care, I just keep putting them up.”
Salls said the signs aren't the only things being stolen from his home. American Flags are being taken and he had 12 at one time, now he is down to six.
“I don't understand the point of taking the flags," Salls said.
Salls said just last week, he saw some people take the signs and run off.
“We were coming back from the grocery store and saw a group of kids taking off with a few of the signs," Salls said.
Salls said he might put out a security camera to see who is doing it. He wants the thefts to be stopped immediately.
“I think it's a group of kids trying to be cruel," Salls said. “It's got to stop.”
Salls said he has been trying to get more signs, but added most local Trump offices are out of them.
