A two-vehicle crash snarled the morning commute along Interstate 91 southbound in Windsor.
State police said the crash happened between exits 34 and 33 shortly after 9:35 a.m.
The left, center and HOV lanes remained closed as of 10:10 a.m.
No one was hurt.
However, congestion was reported between exits 37 to 34, which amounts to a backup of more than 3 miles.
State police are still looking into the cause of the crash.
