OXFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Oxford resident troopers are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect in connection with burglary that occurred at the Double R Inc. Mobil Convenience Store at 1 Oxford Rd.

Stills taken from video surveillance show the suspect to be a white male, with a dark beard wearing a dark color baseball hat, dark color t-shirt, light color shorts, white socks, and low hiker/work boot-type shoes.

The suspect also had a white piece of clothing/fabric around his neck, police said.

Police responded to a burglar alarm on Friday morning at approximately 1:30a.m.

Upon arrival, police said they discovered damage to the drive through window likely made from a prying type tool.

Police have not located the suspect at this time.
