WEST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

A West Hartford man died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after a shooting on Sunday morning.

Police said 32-year-old Michael Fuller’s death came after officers were called to 38 Jackson Ave. around 7:30 a.m. for a report of shots fired.

Officers located a woman and three children outside of the home while inside the residence, they found Fuller and another child.

The woman and Fuller, who had a single gunshot wound to the right side of his head, were rushed to hospitals where he died on Monday morning. Police said the woman had a single gunshot wound to her left outer forearm and was released from the hospital this week.

There have no criminal charged have been filed in the “domestic violence incident,” according to police. The investigation into the incidents continues, police said.

Police determined that the woman and Fuller were the biological parents to the four children. The children remain with the family and their mother.
