A beach in Barkhamsted may reach capacity this weekend, according to the Metropolitan District Commission.
The MDC sought to remind visitors that because of the closure to West Lake Beach at Lake McDonough, the East Beach could fill up quickly.
It first announced the closure last month. The reason was because of a lack of qualified lifeguard applicants.
It said that the beach would not be open for recreation for the whole summer.
However, it said the East Beach is open.
The MDC said East Beach could be capped quickly due to the Fourth of July Holiday.
More information could be found on the MDC's website here.
