BRIDGEPORT, CT (WFSB) -

A suspect in Saturday’s deadly hit and run in Bridgeport has been located.

Police said an altercation happened between a tractor trailer truck driver and another person.

The driver and the victim, identified as 56-year-old Ricardo Rose of Bridgeport, got into an altercation in the truck. Rose exited the truck and was hit.

The truck driver took off from the scene, but on Sunday morning police said the truck and suspect were located at JFK airport.

An arrest warrant is forthcoming.

Police said the altercation between the victim and the suspect was allegedly over money owed for drugs.

On Sunday, police ruled the case a homicide. This is the city's third homicide this year.
