Police in Norwalk said they arrested a woman for stabbing a man several times.
They said they arrested Jayde Williams, 21, of Bridgeport, Sunday night.
Police said they responded to 125 Suncrest Rd. just after 5 p.m. for a stabbing report.
The victim told them that Williams came to his house and the two got into an argument which resulted in the stabbing.
The man was transported to Norwalk Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Williams, whom police said has a child with the victim, fled before officers arrived.
Police said the suspect caused some kind of a disturbance at another home on the same road just before the stabbing. In that case, police said she threw something that broke glass, which in turn struck a small child.
The child, who is not related to the suspect or the victim, was not hurt, according to police.
Williams eventually went to the Norwalk Police Department and surrendered.
Police said they charged her with second-degree assault, risk of injury to a minor and second-degree breach of peace.
Her bond was set at $10,000 and she was given a court date of July 5.
