HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Security at Travelers Insurance was on alert at its Hartford campus after a security breach, according to sources.

Sources said an unauthorized individual entered the building on Main Street Friday around 9 a.m.

Hartford police said the man wandered into the Main North building and left. They didn't believe there was an intended threat.

Officials said the man had a beard and was wearing a white shirt and black pants.

Frightened employees reached out to Channel 3 and sent a surveillance picture of the man.

A separate surveillance photo was sent to employees with an email that stated, "An unauthorized individual entered main north this morning. Security is conducting a thorough sweep of all buildings in the main campus to locate him. If you see him, do not approach."

Travelers also released a statement about the incident.

"Security is of the utmost importance to us," said Matt Bordonaro, Travelers' head of media relations. "As soon as we were alerted of the situation, we made employees aware and worked with the Hartford Police Department. All of our employees are safe and the individual is no longer on our campus."

Employees have resumed their work in the building, police said.

The man in the photo has still not been caught.

Travelers advised employees who may see the individual to call security at 860-277-2000.

Anyone else who recognizes the man can call Hartford police.
