Bank robbery suspect arrested at Stratford train station

STRATFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Police in Stratford said they arrested a bank robbery suspect at a train station on Wednesday.

Scott Taylor, 46, was taken into custody in connection with a robbery at the Chase bank on Main Street.

Police said Taylor entered the bank, indicated that he was armed and demanded money.

He fled with about $1,000, according to police.

Officers searched the area and found him at the Stratford Train Station. He was immediately taken into custody.

Police said the money was recovered but no weapon was found.
