Naugatuck man arrested for threatening officer over social media

NAUGATUCK, CT (WFSB) -

A man from Naugatuck faces charges for threatening an officer over social media, according to police.

Luis Burgos Jr., 21, was arrested on an active arrest warrant, officers said.

The warrant was for a threatening complaint reported on Tuesday.

Burgos made threatening statements about an officer in a social media post.

He was charged with second-degree threatening, second-degree harassment and second-degree breach of peace.

Burgos faced a judge on Wednesday and was held on a $10,000 bond.
