CLINTON, CT (WFSB) -

The Clinton Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating two people responsible for a shoplifting four Fitbit devices from an AT&T store earlier this month.

On July 1, police said one unidentified man distracted the clerk while another man took the Fitbit devices, which were worth more than $700, off the shelves. Police said that same man “secreted them in his pants and under his shirt.”

The first suspect is a heavy set man with a full beard. He was wearing a red baseball style cap and a grey hooded, lightweight shirt.

The second suspect is a man with a thinner build. He was wearing a red baseball style cap and a black jersey type of shirt.

Anyone who can identify the two suspects is asked to call the Clinton Police Department at 860-669-0451 or email Mreed@clintonct.org.
