The swimming area at a state park in Simsbury is closed on Thursday after testing by state officials.
Officials with the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection said Stratton Brook is closed to swimming. The closure comes after DEEP testing for bacteria.
The samples are collected each week and the Stratton Brook will be re-tested on Thursday.
The swimming areas at all other state parks are open on Thursday.
