PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) -

Plainfield police said two people overdosed on heroin Wednesday night.

Around 9 p.m. Plainfield police, Atwood fire and ambulances with American Legion responded to a home in the Wauregan area.

Narcan was used to revive the people.

One person was transported to Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam and the second person was transported to William Backus Hospital in Norwich.

Around 4:13 a.m., officials responded to the same home for another overdose.

Police said one of the people who had been treated earlier in the night had overdosed an hour after returning from the hospital.

The man was once again revived using Narcan and was transported to Day Kimball Hospital.

Officials said there have been six overdoses at the residence within the past year.
