NEW BRITAIN, CT (WFSB) -

An arrest was made following a shooting in New Britain early Sunday morning.

The shooting happened at the New Brite Plaza on East Main Street around 4 a.m.

Officers from multiple departments, including CT State Police, responded to the shooting.

Officials said three people were shot and one was assaulted.

They believe the shooting happened during a large gathering for a car club.

None of the victims are suffering life-threatening injuries.

Police arrested 24-year-old Roberto Alicea, who was charged with criminal possession of a firearm and third-degree assault. He is being held on a $125,000 bond and is expected to appear in court on Monday.

An arrest warrant was also obtained for 26-year-old Milton Figueroa, who is expected to be charged with first-degree assault, criminal possession of a firearm and criminal use of a firearm. The warrant has a $350,000 bond.

Figueroa is on a police hold at an area hospital. The warrant will be served upon his release.

Police said both men sustained gunshot wounds during the disturbance.
