Newington Police arrested two men earlier this week for participating in a robbery at the Quick Stop convenience store back in December, where the store clerk was assaulted.
Randall Michaels, 33, of Hartford was arrested on Tuesday for two outstanding arrest warrants alleging that he participated in a robbery at the Quick Stop Convenience store in Newington at 1125 Willard Avenue on December 7, 2015 and a robbery at a Subway in Newington at 975 Main Street, on November 18, 2015.
Police say Michaels was alleged to be armed with a handgun during both robberies.
During the Quick Stop robbery, the store clerk was assaulted.
Michaels was arrested on several charges, including two counts of Robbery in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree and Carrying a Dangerous Weapon.
Michaels was held on a $450,000 bond and appeared in court on Tuesday.
Newington Police also arrested Timothy Warren, 49, of Hartford on Wednesday for participating in the Quick Stop robbery.
He was arrested on the charge Conspiracy to Commit Robbery in the First Degree.
Warren was held on a $100,000 bond and appeared in court yesterday.
