A busy stretch of road will be impacted by a construction project in Plainville and New Britain Monday.
According to the Department of Transportation, two lanes of Interstate 84 eastbound will be "flipping."
The lane shift will go into effect Monday night.
The two lanes, which are on the right, will shift to the left through the construction zone as the DOT continues work to restore bridges.
The I-84 bridge will be reduced to two lanes through the end of the month.
Some ramps and highway lanes will also be closed at night for construction, including Routes 72 and 372.
The DOT said the Crooked Street ramp onto I-84 east will also remain closed until Nov. 18. A detour is in place.
Here's a detailed schedule of the DOT's lane closures:
I-84 EB and I-84 WB
Ramps and Turning Roadways
Route 72 EB & WB
All Other Roadways
